This week's theme: Something Old

This is a cedar chest that my grandpa made. It's current home is Miss Mollie's nursery. :)

This week's theme: Emotions

Today is Happiness!! :) LOVE this photo of Gram & Mollie!

Seventy-Four

This week's theme: Emotions

Well, this is kind of twofold if you want to name the emotions . . .

Natalie: SOOOOO much LOVE
Mollie: Uh, seriously?

;)

Seventy-Three

This week's theme: Emotions

Let's call this . . . entertained? Mollie gets the biggest kick out of watching Natalie do anything. I feel bad that Natalie wasn't in this shot, but she was basically just standing there, and Mollie got tickled. :) I wish there was sound to go with this photo - it would be a high-pitched squeal. :)

This week's theme: Emotions

OK I'm desperate. We checked out a book from the library a few weeks ago called Silly Face and it talked about all kinds of faces. Natalie had a "face" she made for each one. After her bath this evening, I asked her to make her faces, and she doesn't remember them 100%, but this is her "scared face." I think it would be better titled "slightly surprised." :) She's sick (again), so I'll give her a break. This time. ;)

This week's theme: Emotions

OK I'm not totally digging this "emotions" theme. Emotions are difficult enough to capture, but it's hard to capture an emotion just because someone told you to. I don't know if that makes sense or not. It does to me. Kind of. So anyway, here's Mollie. I was trying for "happy," but instead I got "amused." I think that's an emotion, right? Either way, she's cute. :) :) And I just kind of played around with the processing because it's not the best technically-correct photo ever (too much JUNK in the background).

Seventy

This week's theme: Emotions

Tired, tired, tired, exhausted Miss Mollie - with Pioneer Woman's "seventies" action - and look at that, today is day 70!

This week's theme: Emotions

OK I'm admitting it - I'm cheating a bit again. Still feeling under the weather (and still NO sun), and what a great "emotion" photo I have here from a day or two ago! I know it almost looks fake, but she was truly frustrated with the wind blowing her hair - no posing here at all!

This week's theme: Sun
Next week's theme: Emotions

BUT it's totally raining today, so we interrupt your regularly-scheduled theme to bring you . . . a sweet photo of Natalie that I took a couple of days ago. Hey, no matter how ya cut it, I'm not really sticking to the theme, so I'll just be honest - I'm totally sick and so is my whole family, and there's no sun. Boo! So here's sweet Nat to make us all smile. :)

This week's theme: Sun

Here's one that was taken when it was pretty cloudy, and I attempted to play up the color and sunlight. :) I am starting to think I should change this week's theme to Natalie in the Sun. ;)

This week's theme: Sun

I really loved the sun in Natalie's hair and eyes, but she wouldn't stand still for a picture. Here's the best one I could salvage. :)

Here's the one quick shot I managed to get of Natalie this morning before we left. :)

This week's theme: Sun

OK this isn't the most exciting photo, and I realize I need to try some pics at a different time of day, but I'm just working with what I've got. :) I had an idea for tonight, but a certain little Miss had other ideas, so that didn't happen. Maybe manana. We'll see!

This week's theme: Sun

OK I'm really loving this theme thing. It's really making me streeeeeeetch myself! I'm still trying for sunflare. I always get it when I'm not trying. Anyway, I like the rays of sun in this one. Doesn't the sky look ominous? Yeesh!

This week's theme: Uncategorized!

Here's my little baby giraffe learning to crawl!

This week's theme: Uncategorized!

So I'm feeling really FREE with this no-category week. I just couldn't do "slimy" all week. Maybe I'll catch something slimy one day this week, but if not, I'm not going to beat myself up about it.

So, his face isn't supposed to be in focus, his hands are. I did succeed at that, but a better compostion would make it more obvious. I was tired. *hanging head in shame* I'm still learning! :)

This week's theme: Uncategorized!

I tried to really get the 5th in focus. It almost looks like I was attempting the 14th. Not really sure why that happened!

This week's theme: Uncategorized!

Meet Mr. Gabriel! It was hard to choose a favorite photo from Easter, but this is one that I actually tried to get a "good" photo (as opposed to just attempting to catch cute stuff as quickly as possible), but there was a big sunspot on his left cheek, and I'm pretty happy with my clone/healing work to edit that. Now I'll probably look at it on another computer, and scream because it looks terrible.

Also, look at these eyes! Gorgeous!!!

Next week's theme: Undecided. Uncategorized, perhaps?

There's just something wonderful about a bowl of pure white freshly-hard-boiled eggs, right?

This week's theme: Foods

An extra plate of bite-sized sopapillas that our sweet waitress brought because she wasn't totally sure if Mollie was old enough for them? Score for us! ;) (Although Natalie did eat them all the next day, save one bite for Mommy).

This week's theme: Foods

Trying to get caught up again, and this is pretty self-explanatory. Fruit popsicles: YUM! :) Photo: Eh.
